It is 9th month of the Gregorian calendar and the holy month of fasting. In Ramadan, you fast for thirty days. Every night from Isha to until about 11:15 p/m, you pray a prayer called Taraweeh. On the last ten days of Ramadan, you ALSO pray something called Tahajud. In Tahajud, you pray from 1:00 to about 10-20 minutes before it is time for Sunnah (when you start fasting). What Else Is New?

Yesterday was Eid. On Eid I got Hakal Eid (money), and lots of it. I went to a lot of houses, (which means more food! + you'll need all of it after all that fasting and praying), got lots of presents. Like $? iTunes card, lots of clothes and hijaabs, jewelry, gift card for school supplies (which I really need because almost everything I want that are NOT plain things my parents won't buy), and more cool stuff. Now all I have left is to get ready for school and things like that. -Beftu

What Else Is New?

Have you watched Dog Days? Everyone is talking about it. Including my best friend Nia. I really want to watch it. But my mom and dad are not the types of going t the movies theaters. My only choice is to either go with my neighbor to watch the movie before school starts or to wait till it comes to DVD and comes to the library. Which is really hard t wait for. If every talks about a particular movie, you can't stand waiting long just to watch it. You'd want to talk about the movie like everyone else and not feel left out in the conversations (if they even have one) because you didn't watch the movie. Soooo, I really want to watch it. I already watched Rodrick Rules and the other one. -Beftu
