What books would you recommend to the main character of the book and why?
This is a story about a family whose son is bitten by a scorpian, and then they find the Pearl of the World, a valuable pearl, in the ocean. Kino becomes greedy, and doesn't realize that the pearl is bringing evil. But his wife, Juanita, does, and she desparetley tries to get rid of it. Does it work? You'll have to read to find out!
I first read this book as an assigned book for school, but I didn't like it. I decided to re-read it to see if it was more my taste now. It was better, but I wouldn't go back in time and read it again.
I'd recommend a book called You're Greedy to Kino, written by me. :)
