The Lines We Cross by Randa Abdel-Fattah

Describe a part of the book that made you feel something strongly (i.e. something that made you cry, laugh, get really angry, etc.).

This book is about a boy named Michael and a girl named Mina, both going into 11th grade. Michael's parents are racist, and Michael doesn't know where he stands politically. Mina changes him and makes him into a better person, and in the end, he sticks up against his racist parents. It made me feel so proud that he changed so much. I would definitely recommend this amazing book! It is so powerful and moving
