Hamilton by Ron Chernow

Hamilton, by Ron Chernow is a great biography. Pulitzer Prize winning Chernow tells the story of one of the most interesting founding fathers in great detail. The book that inspired Hamilton tells us the story of Alexander Hamilton from his birth on the island of Nevis to his deadly duel with Aaron Burr. It tells us about the Yellow Fever epidemics that Hamilton caught, the deadlocked election of 1800, the battles Hamilton fought in, and his nefarious affair with Maria Reynolds. Those obsessed with the hit musical Hamilton will love this book.
