American Born Chinese by Gene Luen Lang

If you could ask the author/illustrator of this book one question, what would it be? This is an incredible story, with 3 main characters; a monkey king, Jin, and Danny/. Their paths all cross when Jin becomes a jerk to his friend, Wei Chen, who is actually the Monkey King's... Right! Sorry, I shouldn't give it away, but that means that you have to read it! If I could ask the author/illustrator one question, I'd ask him which character he thinks that he relates to the most. I personally think that I relate to Wei Chen the most, except for him being another form. It sounds confusing, but read it, and you'll understand!!! -Julia, 7th Grade, Cambridge Friends School
