Would you recommend this book? If so, who would you recommend it to, and why? If not, why not?
I would recommend this book to people that have read, and liked Rick Riordans books. You would like this because it is about 7 Loculus hidden in the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. I also would recommend it because just like in the Percy Jackson series there are mythical creatures like a griffin.
The Colossus Rises is the first book in a series called Seven Wonders. The second book in the series is called Lost in Babylon.

Graceful by Wendy Mass
This is a really awesome end to the five book Willow Falls series by Wendy Mass. The fourth book, The Last Present, which was originally supposed to be the last book, didn't really feel like an ending so I'm glad Mass extended it to five books. This book has so many plot turns which really made this my favorite book in the series, and the ending didn't turn out the way I expected but it was still awesome! I recommend this series to kids who like fantasy and/or realistic fiction, because it is some of both, however, be sure to read the first four books first or you will be very confused!

Isabel Feeney, Star Reporter - by: Beth Fantaskey
What character(s) in this book would you most and least like to be friends with, and why?
I would like to be friends with Robert, a boy who has in the past suffered from Polio, which has crippled him, making it hard for him to walk, or do anything active. He also is teased, pitied, and cast out by others, creating a challenge when it comes to making friends. Even his own father left him because he though Robert was "weak"!
He's been through so much, and still stays strong. I'd love to have a brave and strong friend like Robert Giddings.
What would you want to see happen to the characters after this book (or the last of the series) ends?
I would like to see the trio who solved the murder mystery in this (Isabel, Flora, and Robert) get back together. At the end of the book, Flora went off to Hollywood to become a movie star, Robert went to Arizona to get medical help for his Polio, and Isabel remained in Chicago. I'd love to see them all have a heart-warming reunion, where they solve a final mystery together.

If this book were a food/color/song/smell, what would it be and why?
If this book were a food, it would be something mysterious. Something that starts out sweet but transitions into something sour/bitter.

Catching Fire- Suzanne Collins
Which minor character in this book would you like to know more about? If there were a whole book about them, what would it be called?
Catching Fire is a great book for if you like reading about fighting, but also complicated relationships.
These two elements weave together to create the book. For example, when Katniss and Peeta return home from the games in the beginning of the book, Katniss wants to be with Gale but the capital threatens the kill, they want her to be with her fellow victor Peeta. There are some smaller characters in the book that I would like to know more about. For example, Madge the mayors daughter from district twelve. What happend to her while Katniss was in her second games?
Over all this Is a great book about the laws, a cruel game, and the people of the city.
